Pellets are manufactured in a standard size of 4 to 10 mm in diameter and 10 to 45 mm in length.
They are dried to the optimum residual moisture content of a maximum 8 to 10 % and produce heat of
ca. 4.200 kcal/kg = 4.8 kWh/kg.
This corresponds to 0.48 l of heating oil.
